A rare organic coffee! At 600 miles from Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands captured the world's attention when Charles Darwin visited them in 1835. In 1869 a group of French explorers and coffee lovers planted the first coffee trees on the islands, where they flourished in the clean pure climate. Declared by UNESCO "Patrimony of Humanity", Galapagos Islands laws prohibit the use of chemicals and other pesticides. We offer this exciting organic coffee for the first time. These coffee beans are larger in size, extremely rare, and unbelievably come from the same coffee trees that were planted by the French explorers (130 years earlier). Truly an amazing find.
